This tour was amazing! I so wanted to ask more questions but held my tongue. Madam Carmel was truthful and the stories she told were amazing. I highly recommend this tour

Really interesting experience and opens your eyes to the business a lot more. Some incredible stories and a great host. Carmel (I think is her name) is a very interesting and unique person with the greatest accent ever (worth going just to listen to her talk)The best way to hear about the other side of Kalgoorlie away from the gold mining. Definitely recommend

Be good if the owner actually answered the phone, tried calling mulitple times over multiple days then got turned away at the door for not calling. Would give it 0 stars but not an option

$15 per person for a 90min tour, consisting mostly of spoken history and old stories plus a very limited tour round the venue (couple of rooms). It was interesting, and worth a visit, but I wouldn't go again.Update: realised it was actually $30/each. Absolutely not worth the money.

Carmel was wonderful - warm, inviting, witty, and an absolute hoot. A living legend of Kal and full of incredible stories of the town and its history - all the things you won't ever read about in a book. Support this last piece of history on Hay St, and the beautiful human who runs it.

I highly recommend this tour.Carmel the Madame of the establishment is an excellent storyteller recounting really interesting & often humorous tales from the past. A must see when in Kalgoorlie.
